Making a purchase

Once you have made a purchase from our website, you will receive an e-mail from us confirming receipt of your order. If we need further information, we will contact you either via e-mail or by phone (please ensure you give us the correct contact number when you register with us). We have the right to cancel any order in the event of suspected fraud.

Tracking an order

Once your order has been shipped from our London office, we will send you an e-mail with your tracking number so you can trace your order through to delivery.

Secure PayPal payment

We accept debit or credit cards such as: Maestro/Switch, Solo, Visa Electron, Visa and MasterCard via PayPal, a secure online payment system. You will not need a PayPal account to make purchases and we will not have access to your bank details. We accept personal cheques made payable to 'Perfume River UK Ltd' and direct bank transfer only by prior arrangement with us.

Stock availability

We hold stock for every dress design of every size here at our London office. Our website is updated daily, so if a particular dress size is out of stock, 'sold out' will be indicated when selecting a size. All dresses are shipped from our London office directly to you.

Delivery charges

All orders are processed within 24 hours, subject to stock availability. All orders are sent recorded delivery so they need to be signed for. You will receive a tracking number from us via e-mail once your order has been shipped. If your order has been delayed or gone missing due to unforeseen reasons, we will need to complete our investigations before replacement orders are re-sent. We use the services of both Royal Mail and courier companies, including UK Mail and UPS.

Returns and exchanges

If you are not happy with your purchase. Simply send the items back to us with your order summary sheet. We can only accept dresses that have not been worn, used or altered and in their original packaging, within 21 working days of receipt, to our London address below. Please ensure that you have sufficient insurance cover as we cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged during transit.

Within 4 working days of receiving your returned item(s), we will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have issued your refund via PayPal. Please note it will take a few more days for PayPal to complete the refund back to your card.

You will be required to pay for the return postage of any items to Perfume River UK Ltd. We will refund the full value of the goods (excluding shipping costs).

For exchanges, there is no need for you to place another order. Just contact us, to let us know what changes you would like to make. We will either refund your money or invoice you the difference, to reflect the changes you have made to your initial order.

Non-returnable and refundable items

Due to hygiene reasons, some of the jewellery featured for purchase are non-returnable and non-refundable. If an item falls into this category, it will be stated in our product description section of the page.

Product details

We are extremely careful in ensuring that the information provided about our dresses is accurate. We use both 100% pure taffeta silk and polyester silk dupion. There may be a slight variation between batches of materials, so the colour you see on the website may differ slightly from the colour of the actual dress. In addition to this, many of our dresses are hand finished, which may result in slight inconsistencies with beading or embroidery from one dress to another. This is perfectly normal and simply adds to the unique quality, beauty and individuality of each dress.

Tax (VAT exempt)

Perfume River UK Ltd is a non-VAT registered company. Childrens' dresses are zero rated and therefore free from UK VAT from wherever it is being shipped.

Your personal details

In line with data protection regulation, we are committed to maintaining the privacy of all customers on our website as well as the security of any personal details received from you. Personal information given by you will not be available for sale or use by third parties. Occasionally, we will e-mail you with information about our special offers and new products. Please contact us if you do not want to receive these e-mails.
